We are saddened to announce the passing of our colleague, friend, and Dad, Richard Dapra.
Richard Dapra was an industry trailblazer; one of the first to bring assessment centers to acceptance in the modern workplace. He spent over 40 years in leadership and talent development. He was one of the first executives at DDI International. Rich then started his own firm, working with clients like the EEOC and U.S. Army. He held executive HR and talent development positions at Pitney Bowes and Aetna, and was the corporate Head of Talent and Development at Liberty Mutual. Richard joined BTS USA and built its international leadership assessment practice. He was a well-respected and beloved figure in the workplace, especially at @LibertyMutual and @BTS. He often said he had the best leadership training as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corp.
At Alaric, we loved his insights, wit, and practical approach to all we do. He always said the only reason he left retirement was to be able to collaborate with his son on a book (From 50 to 500) and envision something as unique as Alaric. We aim to make him proud!
